Dave is the founder and President of Rehoboth Property Development, and a downtown Rehoboth Beach resident. Prior to moving to Southern Delaware, Dave served as an officer for the New York Police Department. He spent his weekends in Rehoboth Beach, restoring homes and enjoying the welcoming downtown community. Through those projects, he discovered a passion for real estate, and property preservation and renovation. But he also found that the construction options available in the area were not up to par with the quality and attention he desired. Dave began seeking out and hiring leading subcontractors, then orchestrated the construction of impeccable custom homes from the ground up. As Dave’s real estate career began to boom, his clients took curious note of his construction endeavors. It wasn’t long before they began requesting new homes of their own. And in 2012, Rehoboth Property Development was born.
Dave takes a hands-on approach to guiding his clients through the construction process. His personalized attention to detail and tireless enthusiasm are well-known. And his reputation is well earned: each custom home is crafted by Dave with the care and attention he would apply to a home built for himself.

Walt began his 30-year career in financial services as a public accountant at Price Waterhouse Coopers in Philadelphia. He then transitioned into corporate accounting and operations, later becoming a Worldwide CFO at Grey Healthcare Company in New York City. Walt managed the company’s operations and finances, both domestically and internationally. In 2015, he left the healthcare industry, moved to downtown Rehoboth Beach, and followed his passion for real estate by partnering with Rehoboth Property Development. As a certified public accountant (CPA) licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Walt is responsible for handling the day-to-day oversight of the company’s financial operations, as well as providing invaluable operations knowledge. Walt also lends his knowledge and expertise to clients by offering strategic financial, tax, and cash flow planning. For those clients who would like to finance their projects, Walt has many banking and lending relationships which provide various borrowing options.

Tara is an experienced tax and audit accountant with a strong background in financial management. With nine years of experience in public accounting and a CPA certification, Tara has established herself as a proficient and knowledgeable professional in the field. Her journey began when she founded her own bookkeeping company in 2000, finally finding her favorite niche in the construction and real estate environment when she joined RPD in 2016.

Originally from New York, Tara moved to Rehoboth in 2010, alongside her husband and three children, seeking new opportunities and a change of pace. Since relocating Tara has become a deeply committed member of the business community through her work at RPD, and is always ready to offer her time and expertise to our clients to support their home building dreams.

Josh joined the Rehoboth Property Development team as a construction manager in 2016. He is a native Sussex Countian, born and raised in Laurel. The Sussex Tech graduate began his career framing houses, also gaining experience in roofing, remodeling, windows, additions, and more. Later, he moved onto the HVAC and electrical industries. To round out his skills, Josh has nine years of plumbing experience. Josh prides himself on his ability to meet and exceed clients’ expectations by efficiently managing subcontractors, making certain build schedules are adhered to, and homes are built to the highest standard possible. He supervises job sites and subcontractors, while working one-on-one with each homeowner to ensure every need is met as their dream home comes to life.

Mike began his construction career over thirty years ago with a builder that taught him all phases of home construction. He started and operated his own carpentry business for over twenty-two years, applying a high standard to his projects and developing a keen eye for details, craftsmanship, and quality. Over the last five years, he has transitioned into construction project management. With a meticulous attention to detail, a comprehensive knowledge of construction and trade skills, and a commanding focus on quality, Mike is committed to ensuring that each home is built to Rehoboth Property Development’s exceedingly high standards.

With over a decade of experience in both commercial and residential construction, Christian brings a wealth of knowledge to every project. From site preparation to the finishing touches, he is well-versed in all aspects of construction, ensuring quality and precision at every step. His ultimate goal is to deliver his clients dreams, and surpassing expectations with top-notch craftsmanship and timely completion.

Beyond the job site, his greatest passion is spending time with his two boys and instilling in them the same love for his trade. Whether it's teaching them the ropes or helping them with their own projects, he cherishes the opportunity to share his knowledge and passion for construction with the next generation.

As an Accounting Manager at RPD, Heidi blends a passion for finance and working with others. Heidi brings years of experience in managing budgets, streamlining processes, and ensuring fiscal integrity within the real estate sector. Heidi has lived in southern Delaware for the past 30 and loves the Rehoboth community. Committed to driving financial excellence while embracing the serene beauty of Rehoboth Beach, she thrives in balancing the demands of a dynamic industry with the tranquility of coastal living.

When she’s not immersed in her work endeavors, Heidi enjoys spending time with her husband, Bruce, and five sons. She also loves nature, reading, and architecture, finding inspiration and joy in the simple moments of life.

Brooke enjoys being a part of our RPD team and ensures that our clients experience is first-class through the construction process and beyond. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail. She facilitates and expedites the flow of construction documents, schedules, calendars, and invoices to keep our projects moving efficiently and effectively and our clients in sync with our construction team throughout the entire building process. She is a native Delawarean born in Newark, Delaware, Wallace has spent most of her life in New Castle County. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with degrees in cognitive science and Spanish. She continued her education at Boston University, where she earned a master’s degree in management and graduated with honors. After her schooling, she traveled solo through Europe before starting her career. Wallace’s passion for real estate and construction and love for the beach brought her to Bethany. She brings an enthusiastic entrepreneurial spirit to the team along with a love for connecting with others.

As our CCO and distant descendant of King Charles II’s Cavaliers, Finn is responsible for employee happiness. He enjoys greeting clients, inspecting delivered packages, and cleaning the kitchen. His favorite part of working with Rehoboth Property Development is lounging in our offices and taking naps on just about anyone’s lap; and he is a huge fan of snacks during team meetings. In his spare time, he enjoys playing outdoors and walking along Rehoboth Avenue and the boardwalk.
